When you think of a Brooklyn emcee, most picture poverty, a broken home, and likely not classroom educated. Few see a God fearing young man helmed from a two-parent home. But those are few things that set Hollywood or simply H apart from your accustomed emcee. While most emcees find success in their music from tales of "daddy left me, on the corner robbery raps", Hollywood lets his growing up in the East New York section of Brooklyn and what he’s learned in the classroom live in his lyrics.
Music, mainly hip-hop, and more specifically sharp and witty lyrics, holds a special place in his heart. In November of 2010, Hollywood released his first street mixtape, 24:7 , via his official blog,   Facebook and DatPiff.com receiving numerous praises for his lyrical skills, flow, and content.
In late 2010, Hollywood along with a few close friends formed East Brook Familia (EBF) to help promote H music’s and develop his career along with other budding artists.  You can find H on Twitter @EastBrookFamily, Facebook, YouTube and throughout New York City performing for his ever growing fan base.
EBF and Hollywood are currently working on H’s second mixtape, HBO vol. I: My EastSide Story, which is the first of a three series project.

Michael Scott Williams (born February 26, 1988), also known by his stage name Hollywood or simply H, is a Brooklyn emcee who began writing rhymes at age 15. By the time he was 18 years old, this Brooklyn born rapper couldn't be around friends and music without focusing everyone’s attention on him while reciting his latest rhymes. Throughout his teens, he constantly worked to prefect his skills on the microphone.  While he didn’t give much thought to making music a career, it wasn’t until his senior year at Hampton University that he flirted with the idea of pursuing a professional career.  A rapper and a poet, this Renaissance man also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Metropolitan College of New York
Hollywood lives in the East New York section of Brooklyn with his family.
